Perth Part 2 (The Pinnacles at Nambung National Park)

Monday, December 24, 2012

The next morning we did the long drive up (245 km or 3 hours) to Nambung National Park where the Pinnacles are. The Pinnacles are limestone formations that come in various sizes and shapes. It is indeed a site to behold. Definitely highly recommended to do the trip up to see them.

 Typical signboard in Australia

The Pinnacles

I really really like this photo. It seems as if it has been edited likewise

The sand is pretty smooth and very thin

3 of us tried this "lompat" stuff

After spending almost 2 hour at the dessert, we went to a fishing village near the small town named Cervantes for our lunch. Cervantes is a fishing village but quite modern and very clean compared to fishing villages in Malaysia.(no offense!)

After we had our lunch, we passed Emu Downs Wind Farm which has many "fans" which generated electricity based on wind force. We got really excited because we never saw this kind of place in Malaysia so we stopped by and took some photos at the farm.

It was windy, really.
