UK Part 1 (Oxford)

Our adventure in the land of United Kingdom begins…

And the first pit stop is – Oxford. This city of dreaming spires, punts on the river and gowned academics on bikes is perfect for a weekend break. It’s small enough to walk across in half an hour but has plenty to keep you busy. There are hundreds of years of academic and literary history, with museums and colleges passed through by many famous scientists, philosophers, authors and politicians. But there is also the modern city, with great bars and restaurants to explore.

The beautiful city of Oxford doesn’t really need any introductions. It has it all; quirky pubs, hidden lanes, iconic buildings, both high street stores and independent boutiques, Harry Potter magic (yes, that’s a thing), awesome bakery spots, glam spots, hip hangouts…need I go on?!

We booked a house via AirBnB. It was a classic English house with a steep stairs at the entrance door. Weather was freezing cold – but yet no snow. And we rented a van (like Starex) to venture Oxford town. There were many youngsters at the Oxford town, just because it’s an academic town.

So here’s few snapshot taken at Oxford town itself:
