Umrah Part 1 (KL-Medina)

Friday, January 24, 2014

We booked our Umrah package via Andalusia travel last December for Umrah Winter/ Umrah Musim Sejuk package. Why do we choose Andalusia? Because it is one of the recognized agency for Umrah, and many Mak's and Abah's friends had good experience with this agency plus they have one office in Tampin so it is easier for us to deal some sort of things with them.

So on the 11th December 2013, the journey to Medina began, departed via Saudi Arlines SV 829 around 3 pm and 4 of us were seated in the middle row. Thanks to Pak cik TSM maintenance and Pak Long's family for sending us off at KLIA.

We took Saudi Arabian Airlines and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the services given by this airline. Some of the cabin crews wear hijabs and what I like most is everytime the plane is about to take off, the pilots will recite the du'a for musaffir/ travellers and also the du'a of riding transportations. This airline is like UIA to me (Islamic and modern).

After almost 10 hours inside this plane, I feel like my back bone is about to explode.

We stopped over at Riyadh for approximately 45 minutes and took off for Medina getting a new set of cabin crews and pilots. Arrived at Medina airport and after getting the passports stamped, we took bus at around 9.25 pm and headed to Mubarak Silver hotel. The weather in Medina is pretty cold (due to Winter season) and it is advisable to bring sweaters/ shawls to cover yourself up if you're planning to visit this place in December.

Abah and Annur in front of Madinah's airport.

Checked into our room, great place and the Masjid is just less than 200 miles from the main gate of Masjid Nabawi.Performed Maghrib & Isya at the Masjid Nabawi and give salams to Prophet Muhammad and the sahabahs and slept like a baby in this chilly weather.

Mubarak Silver hotel alos have the wifi facility near its lobby. This is the wifi password for Mubarak Silver hotel in Madinah is : 30306060

Our first night in Madinah. So happy to have a chance visiting and praying inside this beautiful Masjid.
