Few Info's When Taking Bus From Tampin to Malacca

Sunday, May 16, 2010

But this post is mainly for the first-timer in which I'll give few guidelines on how to take a bus from Tampin to Malacca.

I never take a bus to Malacca alone and this is the first experience for me. I usually get scared to places that I venture alone.I've tried googled for a piece of information regarding on bus availability but couldn't find it though. So I feel to write this to help some people who have trouble regarding on bus transportation and etc.
If you want to read this, do feel free to read this post :P

*If you take a train from Singapore/Kuala Lumpur to Tampin station, there are taxis that provide services to send you to Malacca but taxis are pretty expensive (about RM 70) but taxis are quite convenient meanwhile if you want to take a bus, buses are very very cheap (less than RM 5 per head) but it takes time (but hey its still cheap!) All you need to do if you take a bus, please take a taxi/or walking (20 minutes distance) and go to Tampin bus station. Ask the locals and they will happily help you show the way to the bus station. If you plan to go to the Malacca, just say your destination : Malacca Central Bus Station. When you arrive at Malacca Central, you can take taxis to bring you to your hotel. Malacca Central is at the heart of Malacca City.

Few Informations :

-There are 2 bus companies that are available to Malacca from Tampin.

Tai Lye or Salira

-Check,I'd took Salira

-Bus conductor : Quite friendly (helpful)
-Road Route : Tampin - Alor Gajah - Melaka Pindah - Belimbing Dalam - Durian Tunggal - Ayer Keroh - Malacca City.
-Rating *personal* : B

Writer Notes :
To avoid getting yourself boring, bring your Ipod/mp3 and something to read like magazines etc.Don't try to do sudoku puzzle or read newspapers as the condition is not as comfortable as we hoped for.
Thanks :)
